With the client landing on a unique name, Bandana, the design process began with a few requests from the client intake. First the logo will be used as the main brand “Bandana” and then applied to focused services like “Bandana Rx”, “Bandana Box”, etc. The also wanted the design direction to make use of a specific color scheme that incorporated the use of a "red wine" color. The approach taken was one where the actual "bandana" did not dominate the logo and instead it keyed in on playful, happy pets nested in the letter "B" as seen in the sketch below.
